Literary Analysis Rubric

Here is the rubric for the Literary Analysis essay we have been writing in class.

Final Draft due Sept. 17/18 through Google Classroom - you will be submitting in class so you MUST have your laptop or device. Use Google Docs or have the essay saved on your device. You MUST be able to access it during class. 

The MLA format of this paper is as follows:
1 inch margins all around
name (seat number), date, period on the top left-hand side
When you write the name of the novel in the essay make sure to italicize the title, for example
The Secret Life of Bees
12 point font /TIMES NEW ROMAN OR ARIAL ALL THROUGHOUT! NO BOLD TITLES
Double Space lines
A creative title (centered)
MLA Citations all throughout
Works Cited page with MLA citation of the book
